Hip Hop in Session CD

I decided to create a page to promote what I use to my clients, students, vip members and consumers. I've had this equipment for a while now. Before owning this I used a MPC3000, Juno101, Alesis keyboards, Triton, Roland JV2080 with all the plugins, mics cords and more. But now I only have my computer and the equipment below.

I've put computer software threw the loops and mad test, and CPU software came out victorious. Every since then I stuck to the newer technology. I've considered the effects plug-ins, keyboards and sounds software and drum machines, and with a little bit of time, you would not be able to tell the difference between recording with software or hardware.

People in the music industry still ask me to this very day do I have a mpc2, 3, or 4000, I tell them none and they can't believe it.

Below are my main pieces, now of course they are not every exact detail item, like cords, or mic or pedal, these are just my mandatory hardware items. All less than $1500.00, but the quality can compare to $100.000 equipment.

My Studio Equipment

Midi Radium 61 Key USB Controller

This is the exact keyboard used in all my tutorials, it has good strong buttons, nice velocity control, pitch bend and modulator wheels for my infamous wah wah effect. It was surely hard for me to give up my MPC3000 on the strength of the feel of the pads, you can almost say that those drum pads are a literal part of hip hop, but I managed, and now Im hooked to my USB MIDIman. This controller has no sounds, it is only used as a controller, a keyboard that is primarily use to trigger the sounds from my drum machine and midi instruments.

Event 20/20 150 Watt Speakers

Here's my speaker set. Good quality for the price, they are not Mackies, but they will and have already did an excellent job. A really good guy and very talented engineer in Hollywood California at "Cherokee Studios" this is the studio where Dr. Dre, Brandy and a host of others recorded and mixed there albums. The enginneer there told me my mixes where pretty decent and asked what monitors I was using, I told him events, he told me he had really high respect for them, and he had a person set at home, and you can get good sound from those speakers

Motu 828 Firewire

This is my soundcard, the most expensive item out of all my arsenal. It was 799.99 at the time but it was well worth it, and it paid for itself 30 times over. This card is not necessary to pull off all the things done here, but it certainly covers all the grounds. This device has 8 ins, 8 outs, plugs into your firewire port. has s/pdif, optical, and records up to 32 bit. If you are thinking about getting a sound card, make sure it's up to date with all the necessary drivers to run your software smoothly. Asio's Directx etc.
Alesis RA-100

And this is my amp, it gets the job done. The wattage is slightly higher than my speakers, and thats very important, it helps to give that extra headroom and punch.
